Cheeky enough to sell a photo of a license plate (although listing is very clear on this) but also wants the buyer to collect! That's just asking for trouble.

I suspect that one is an enticement to make an offer for the real plate and avoid ebay fees.

  • These sellers are crooks but it is clear that the people who bid on such items do not read the advert or cannot read? Some people are just unbelievable. It is hard to comprehend what is going through their pea sized brains.

I can't believe people don't read the listings properly, or even in this case the titles. It's not a terribly text dense listing nor is the item actually being a photo remotely attempting to be hidden.

But why not read the listing. It could have all manner of bad things in there, for example "broken since my cat urinated in it, will need cleaning" or "only works with the five pin 183 volt sockets in Mongolia". I am however now starting to realise what's going on in the minds of some of the crazy buyers who have emailed me saying it wasn't what they expected, despite a pretty frank listing mentioning any flaws. They haven't actually read the listing at all.
