Hi
Can i join too please?
I would like to save £14000 next year, this could be a little tricky as i only earn £14000 pre tax!
However, i'm up for a challenge . All of the money that i need will go towards my house deposit, OU study fund and some savings for myself. Separately i need to save £1250 for my trip to Australia in May.
Thanks Carol0 -

I am in too please! Just been doing the budget planner again - for the first time every with DH! He is self emmployed so income really varies, and we sooooo need to do a spending diary from January.
Gonna go for £12K....very optimistic but will be reading #the secret# in the holidays so gonna have lots of positive thinking and wealth pursuing!
Im gonna :
do EBAY (my frog that needs to be eaten every week!)
put in some funding applications to make more money through my work and really push myself at every opportunity AND create opportunities for myself....
Re-focus on old business that DH and I set up ages ago and never really pushed - still have all the things we need to make some money from it - in fact, we made £50 from it this week so gonna transfer that over to savings in a minute!!
Push & support DH into looking at other work opportunities
Thanks for this thread...need to find a challenge I can stick to!0 -
Where did you get cheap disneyland paris tickets, we have booked an alfresco and need tickets for 2 adults and 3 kids
Cheers
I booked it over the Disneyland website - they are doing cheap tickets at the moment. We booked for only one park (I think there are two?) as we are only going for one day. It cost 57euros per adult and 51euros for our 6 yr old daughter (our under 2 child was free).
I stupidly paid extra to have tickets sent to me, as I thought they would be big and gold and sparkly- with disneyland castle on it - the aren't! They are slightly bigger than a big stamp and purpley-pink with a different character on it - very unimpressive!
I saved most by researching the Paris underground system, and picking a cheap Camponile hotel with parking, close to the Metro (RER?) system, which will take us straight to Disneyland, and also into Paris as we are spending a day there checking out the Louvre / Eiffel Tower / Arc de Triomphe etc (the Paris Est Bobigny Camponile)- that's costing us about £200 for 3 nights, peak season, with us all in one room.
Hope this helps?

Ohh, I'm in, please! Not sure if I can make £12000, but I owe my mum £5500, so if I can pay that back and have a bit left over then I'll be pleased.
I don't have any 'proper' income, but I sell some of my photos online, so I'll include that. I've also got quite a few things to ebay, and have investigated buying things in bulk to split and sell on ebay for a profit, so may try and do that as well. I do a bit of mystery shopping and I'd also like to try and do some craft items and sell those, but I'm not sure that there's much of a market out there, I'll have to investigate that a bit more. I've also thought about giving photography tuition, so will look into that as well.
So, let's see...
Selling photos - £400/month
Mystery Shopping - £200/month
Ebaying - £200/month
= £800/month
I figure that the above amounts are feasible, but to make the extra £200 a month I'm either going to have to up my income from the above or find another income stream.0 -
