Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Okay, bought 10 cigs yesterday, today will be nsd for challenge but need to get the milk I didn't get chance to yesterday. Tomorrow is still a planned nsd and then we're on Friday... phew! Think I may blow the budget as usual, however I was being very optimistic this week!!!
Sun 11 Dec: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as small food top up from food budget for things that couldn't get on Thur, and petrol from petrol budget and Sellotape from Christmas budget)
Mon 12 Dec: Rollie Stuff and 10 cigs, £8.35, Apple from sandwich lady (aren't I good!) 35p, FAIL - pub £7.50
Tue 13 Dec: AL, 10 cigs £3.46
Planned - Wed 14 Dec: NSD for challeng (milk from food budget)
Planned - Thu 15 Dec: AL, True NSD
Planned - Fri 16 Dec: Rollie Stuff and 10 cigs £9, Starbucks £3
Total so far: £19.76/£30
Have a great day all...ugh, can't wait till I'm home again...!
LC x
EDIT - In fact, I've just realised that the reason I find this difficult is because of the differing days to my budgets. My own budgets run from Friday to Thursday, hence when I look like I'm going mad on a Friday on here, it's actually because it's "payday" for me on my budgets. I don't really want to change the days I budget as Fridays work well for me. But on the other hand I want to do the challenge as normal. So either I start working it out properly, or I change something. Hmmmmm, I can think about that around work today!

Good morning everyone!
Thanks for this weeks thread PP! :T
Apologies for my tardiness this weekI 've been spending far too much recently ... last week I was doing fine and was within budget on Friday; however, Saturday was another story all together! So I was red, and yesterday was a HUGE spendy day!
...
... So I'd like to make up for things and make a purple pledge of £0 and start my week today - thanks PP!
Have a good hump-day everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Uh oh. My weekly spend is going up and up and up.
And I still have my work night out on Friday as well...
Another £13.99 for me today.
£5.99 on a book I had ordered for dd
£3.00 on 4 minatures of Baileys (for secret santa at work plus one as a treat for me at christmas)
£5.00 on 3 boxed of biscuits which are for the technicians, caretakers and cleaners at work. Worth every penny to thank them for their work this year and to keep them on side for next year.
So my total so far this week is...
£32.45 I think. I'll double check and change my signature.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
Hi everyone!
Happy Hump Day!
...11 more sleeps to go, 11 more sleeps to Santa... :j
Hehe, hi chris81418, how are you!! Being very brave with your bold purple there...!!
What's your work night out wannabee_in_credit, is a pub or a function, or something thrilling!? Ours isn't till next Thursday!!! And have to be in work at 9 next morning!!!
Sun 11 Dec: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as small food top up from food budget for things that couldn't get on Thur, and petrol from petrol budget and Sellotape from Christmas budget)

Wed 14 Dec: 10 cigs, milk, mince pies and brandy butter (mmm) £6.80
Planned - Thu 15 Dec: AL, True NSD
Planned - Fri 16 Dec: Rollie Stuff and 10 cigs £9, Starbucks £3
Total so far: £26.56/£30
Hmm. Definitely will go over. Thursday will either be a NSD as I'm home all day, OR because I am popping round my friends in the evening, I may end up buying 10 cigs. However, I have about 8 left from today, plus all my rollie stuff (which I'm smoking in between real cigs so trying to spend less than usual which to be fair, is working to an extent!!). So I'm going to try really hard to only smoke what I have tomorrow and have a NSD. Then on Friday I will buy (probably) 10 cigs, Starbucks (unless they accept the luncheon voucher I've been sent from the survey panel that must not be named, which they probably won't as they are a franchise).
Yeah... definitely going over. Can't say as I care tbh, I have the money there and also my surplus pot is ticking over nicely for that broke week at the end of Dec!

Haven't spent anything yet today, except a loaf of bread for my mum which I'll get the money back for when she's home in a min, so doesn't count!!!
Going to friends later and there's a Card Warehouse right by them, so hopefully they'll still be open as I want to get my mum and dad's cards, and my sisters from there. Everyone else gets generic ones--- had a bargain this year, Winnie the Pooh ones in Next Clearance for 50p for a pack of 20! Got 2 packs, £1 later, I'm a happy bunny!
Hope you're all having a good day!

Gad. My spending is going up and up and up. I'd planned a nsd today but unfortunately have spent £7.57. Had to pop into town and ended up buying stamps and houmous, plus raffle tickets for dHowever, today I made £19.11 on ebay and also received a tax rebate cheque for £69.23.
So I'm wondering if I should offset my spending with the extra money I've made this week.
Advice please people...Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Hi wannabee,
Some people do and some people don't, it's really up to you. Sorry, I know that doesn't help much
I don't, anything extra I get goes into the bank for my debts and I just continue with my spending challenge for the week.
But, that's just me and I know others will be along with their thoughts soonFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
All is going to plan at the moment.......
Sunday - NSD
Monday - £1.84 posting ebay parcels and 0.16p change into my 'dross jar' = £2.00.
Tuesday - £2.00 into tea/coffee fund at work
Wednesday - NSD
Thursday - £2.47 in card shop and 0.53p change into 'dross jar' = £3.00

Sunday NSD
Monday £92.70 on Christmas presents £5.50 on fruit and veg from greengrocer ~ offsetting by £1 found on the bathroom floor total £97.20/£150
Tuesday £4.50 on more fruit and veg to last for next few days (hopefully ), £1.70 on cards + randomly £1.60 on pack of pins for a Christmas presentAlso bought 3 more presents but used my B**ts Adv*ntage points so nil cost :T. Also may have 'accidentally' bought a cover for my iPad from P*perchase @ £19.75 ~ total now £123.35/£150. To redeem myself slightly, got paid for a survey so adding £3 to the equation now £120.35/£150
Wednesday NSD ~ yeah :T
Thursday £2.99 on 3 cloves of seed garlic for planting out on the allotment offset by £7.04 from a matched bet that paid out this evening total £116.30/£150
wannabee_in_credit ~ I do offset any
money I've made as I like to use the challenge as a snapshot of my financial situation each week, however as always it's what works for the individual I think
