If anyone out there is missing the quality of Jeffers, my brother-in-law (who used to work as a Sous Chef in Jeffers up until just before it closed) is now Head Chef at Enigma in Holywood (just beside the fire station). I am not being biased in saying that the food is absolutely delightful. Give it a go!0

Thought you all may be interested in this...
Clothing retailer H&M are to open a large store within Bloomfield Shopping Centre. The two units left of Argos (formerly Dresswell and D2 Jeans) will be amalgamated (planning approval is in place to potentially extend backwards and provide a mezzanine floor).
Also: May have already been mentioned but the former Reids store in the Retail Park beside Xtra-Vision has been approved planning permission to add a mezzanine floor and change use to catalogue store selling bulky goods. The applicant is the parent company of Argos - Likely that they will close the Flagship store and move the Bloomfield store out of the Centre to the larger Retail Park unit.
In other news in Bloomfield: You may all already know but the Makula 5 building is in receivership being sold off by Osborne King (This has no relation to the restaurant business).
And: Planning permission is likely to be granted soon for an application proposing two units between Frankie & Benny's and McDonalds on the car parking area closest to Frankie & Benny's in front of the toy store. One unit is for a coffee shop and one is for a small retail unit.
And: The letting agent is still advertising a potential retail warehouse unit to the right side of Smyths Toy Store.0 -
