You need to take care of yourself hun, if work is that bad - get signed off for a week or so to take time to relax and get back into a sleeping pattern *hugs*No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Hiya Hun..... sorry work is still !!!!!!.... do u have an HR manager u can talk to? Or do u want me to bring Dan down so he can kick all their @r$£$? He is very good at that, he spends most f the night doing it!
Can't help with the cards - all too much technology!
Do u think whats going on at work is subconciously keeping u awake at night? I know u hate them but I really think u should go to the Dr about ur not sleeping, or at least get some time off from the stress at work to try a recouperate and get ur sleeping back to normal.... again, as always, feel free to PM/text/call me if u want

Hi sarah... hr manager! whats one of them? :rotfl:We had an old bag who just cant be arsed with anyone and then this fragile old man that can only say '2 slice of toast' to me  even if they wanted to listen to them i am only a clocking in number i doubt they truely care. Hehe @ dan...
With the sleep thing yes it is work and also my brain wont switch off and i can be falling asleep here on the pc and my head hits the pillow and i am wide awakeI have done the no drinking before going to bed, the avon sleep balm, bath before bed, sleep tabs, early to sleep, late to sleep ~ nothing works i usually drop off around 2am~3am (this happened at the meet too) and then i have to be up for work at 6am so i get about 1 hour of deep sleep. Then i drink bottles of lucozade to keep me awake and able to work, these are over calories so i cant eat  its like a never ending cycle.

It sounds like you're suffering from stress, and that can have repercussions. Please see your doc and get signed off, you need some PAP time
Yep more tax for low/middle earners, great huh. Just think when you're 25 you'll suddenly need more money to live on according to them and they'll start handing you WTC on a plate :mad:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

I find that if I need a decent nights sleep, I have to come away from the pc quite early, and maybe read a book/the paper. Also, I discovered that if I have chocolate just before bed, I have really weird dreams, usually about what I've been watching on tv..... I have had a Lost dream, a CSI dream, I even dreamt that I was looking at Egg Money Manager!
Maybe u could try something like Horlicks to sen du to sleep - it worked for my Nan! Otherwise its a trip to he Drs to get signed off....'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Hi Pap, just saw your posts about being unable to sleep. I think the suggestion about reading is an excellent one. A really good stress buster is to become hooked on reading. I am and I become anxious if I do not have a book on the go and at hand when feeling bored or stressed. The thing about a good book is that it makes you forget all the stuff youre getting all tense and screwed up about. So snuggle down in bed with a good book and enjoy, dont even care about sleep. When you do feel weary then snuggle under the covers and enjoy the cosy warm feeling and remember what a lot of people forget, when youre lying in bed awake or dozing, you are resting even if sleep does not come. So lie and enjoy the fact that you dont have to get up for hours, read your book and doze or just doze, a drink of water is also good as it calms the bladder. Just luxuriate in the pleasure of being in bed and comfortable and cosy and warm. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
