Argos have one online for £199.99 - think that includes delivery too, and they will take the old one away for £5. Don't know how you would be fixed for getting one delivered from Makro - what is delivery charge?

    (That's for a 1200 spin speed.)

    sm

thats the argos one i shall get (the card is an argos store card :o ~ sorry all those who dont like store cards but i wanted the 0%) however i cant order it untill my card arives (could be another 7 days) and then there is 14days+ delivery. The one in makro is 1400 spin and is A on all the energy ratings, they dont deliver however we can try and get it into our car or my mums oh has a van that we can use. Conection one of my uncles can do free of charge, however it just means no savings this month :wall: and also buying it outright will mean mum can try and not pay it  although i would never let the 0% deal run out anyway...

its hard, in one way i would like to get it on the card but in another way we need one now, i dont really want to spend my weekend off sitting in a launderette that takes 3 hours to wash 2 loads  and costs nearly £5 plus petrol

edit ~ comet do washers that i can collect instore too... mmm...

My sister has a washing wachine however her flat hasnt got the plumbing avalible and we have no way of transporting it up here.
they dont deliver however we can try and get it into our car or my mums oh has a van that we can use. Conection one of my uncles can do free of charge

Does all this mean that you do actually have access to transport for the washing machine you sister can't use? If so then I would move hers if at all possible. If she can't use it could you get it from her as a gift eg early xmas for you, mum and bruv (crap prezzie I know but needs must!! ) or "buy it from her" over the next few months. If not can you borrow it till you 3 can save up for a new one?
we (3 adults) all work fulltime

If there are 3 adults with f/t wages using the washing machine then 3 adults to contribute to paying for it?????? ;) Only a thought! I know the others are not so good with money but why should you be more put out (or pay more) than everyone else?

Would be good if you could get the one from your sisters moved.
That would save you some money meantime & you could still get your furniture.
Has your mum still got a lot of debt to be paid off ?

Hey PAP - are you sure you could'nt face using Freecyle? There's LOADs on the my local one at the mo - people always seem to buy new Zanussi's and they turn up slightly larger than they expect. Free is best!!!! xx
  • taka ~ my sister will not give up her machine i asked her today... its not we couldnt transport it but she lives in a block of flats (top flat) and we couldnt get it back down. My brother wont put his hand in his pocket, he works full time but gets payed wekly so he never sees his money.

beanie ~ i am still getting my funiture (see below) she has around £600 outstanding and thats it, oh and a little owed to bt but thats in my name  hopefully it will all be gone around xmas :T

bobbadog ~ we have sorted it now, i think....

right we are getting the one in work £210 saturday if there are any left  mum worked an extra shift on the van so has given me £50, she will use £70 from her main wages (although this may mean electric and gas and food is short the remainder of the month). I will then lend her £90 untill the free rent week comes up on the council when she will pay me back. This then means we can have a machine and i can get my furniture :D

bad day today i feel exhusted and 'down' prob because my brother last night expected me to cough up all the money for this machine :o and i couldnt stand work but i scrapped through but i did spend in the vendors  next week i shall not use them at all
