Good luck with the challenge pap.
It is supposed to take 28 days of repetition to make a new habit so just 27 to go:D

Just think of the money you will save over a year.Probably enough for your holiday spends.

  • thanks all... fell down today though on vendor days... ended up spending £1.80 in them :o opps... but i must confess i was on a late and was starving :rotfl:

have a little problem however... the card havent come for my furniture yet ~ not a problem at all as i am happy to wait however... mums washing machine has broken down. Her tumble dryer (3 years old) broke 3 months ago and now her washing machines gone (6+ years old), the drum will not spin :o so do you think its acceptable to put a washing machine on this card instead (will still be 6 monts 0%) and wait longer for my item.

As i say i dont need this furniture i would just like it whereas the washing machine we need, we (3 adults) all work fulltime and have only really one set of working clothes. We cant go to the landerette (in town) each night at 9pm to wash our clothes. My sister has a washing wachine however her flat hasnt got the plumbing avalible and we have no way of transporting it up here.

What do you all think? once its on the card i will prob have to pay half £20 each month but it will be part of mums xmas gift and she has agreed to that verbally

    Poor PaP,
everytime you get sorted out and decide what you want for yourself you end up bailing out the family again. i don't know what they would all do without you:confused::confused: .

Have you got a local freecycle - you may get one from there - ours seems to have washers regularly.

If you do get the washer don't get lumbered with paying for all of it yourself.I can understand the bind you are in though.

SM, i know and some people may think i am mad but all i do is pay mums debts and the bt bill each month and i am fed/watered/hot water on top (most of the time)/clothes washed etc. As as i said above we cant do without it

cant use freecycle, used it before and had a bad experience, just lloking through trade it etc at the momment though.

I wont be, dont worry... i have learnt my lesson many a times and this time if i decided to buy one then mums paying at least 1/2.

I have found one in work now for £180.00 + vat - 10% = £190.35, it will mean i can buy my furniture however this money will come from my savings ... i am stuck between a rock and a hardplace :o

Argos have one online for £199.99 - think that includes delivery too, and they will take the old one away for £5. Don't know how you would be fixed for getting one delivered from Makro - what is delivery charge?

    (That's for a 1200 spin speed.)
