Is he a friend or are you 'friends' *wink wink nudge nudge*? As obviously it's different if you're just mates or if you're 'friends'. If you're 'friends' *wink wink nudge nudge*, maybe he thinks you couldn't make it as you had another 'friend' over and he got jealous?
Oh no I definitely didn't mean 'friend' in that *wink wink nudge nudge* sense, I meant 'friend' in the sense that he's not really being much of a friend! Does that make any sense??!0 -
He sounds very immature and selfish. Do you really want someone like that in your life?" The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

If he is happy to make such a silly fuss about nothing and drop you for no reason, he isn't much of a loss tbh.
No real friend would do that. Be happy you have found out his true petty nature now, cut him loose and concentrate on friends more deserving of your time0 -
Thank you everyone, you've all come to the same conclusion as I did about our friendship which makes me feel better! I am the sort of person who tends to have a few close friends and I put a lot of effort into those friendships and don't give up on them easily, I think some people take for granted that I'm always organised and will go out of way way to make an effort but then don't return the favour and it seems like this is one of those cases!0

I'm quite a lot like that, when I make a friend they are my friend for life, until they show me that they arent bothered, i will walk on hot coals for them but if they wont do the same for me then they arent as loyal and appreciative of a friend as I am,
I have friends from my childhood and early working days, who still exchange Christmas cards and the odd letter to. Lots of others have fallen along the wayside but only when they have proved they are not worthy of my friend ship, their loss eh. Thats my slant on it anyway.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
You're not in the wrong as much as he's trying desperately to make you think you are. He's a pillock and childish with it. I really hate it when self-centred people make nice ones start questioning themselves.0

No hun - you are not in the wrong - just chose a wrong friend! so he is blanking you - good! Friends like that you can live without!
what others have said is right - he was using you. Not a real friend so forget him!0
