:eek: ooops HC sorry u havnt come across a nice first driver hmmm hubby works for them hes a rather good driver been driving buses for 20 years with first the last 5 hes always coming home with biscuits and treats from the old dears who think hes lovely not all drivers are bad he does have bad days not thru fault of his own he loves his job and does try his best to be on time its not always as easy as ppl think it should be

My hubby was a bus driver for several years and you are right it is not as easy as it would seem. He was assaulted once by a man who was squirting people on the bus with washing up liquid, he made the mistake of getting out of the drivers cab and asking the person to leave the bus. He was knocked to the ground and hit his head quite badly despite being a big fella who can handle himself, and it really shook him up.

Also don't forget some tesco trouts won't drive and its the poor bus drivers who have to take them to work.:D

Bus home is 40 minutes late, normal service has resumed.

I understand it's not easy, especially in Aberdeen where the traffic is too much for the shi tty road layout. What does take the !!!! is when you go to get a bus somewhere, wait ages, then when it does come you find out its going off service early, and that happens a lot in Aberdeen, and that's if the bus turns up at all!
