  • Hmm the ones I found say are deco, are lap trays and are stuffed up top with a stuck on barcode different from the shelf location ones....i shall investigate ;)

Art deco ones should scan at £1...SEL should say £5

A little bit of advice required please Elite 11+

I read a few posts about cellophane but I've searched and can't find them again! Anyway someone mentioned that they are selling cellophane at Lidl at the moment. I popped into my local yesterday and couldn't find any, SA said they didn't have any, didn't know anything about it. I've now searched for the telephone number of a couple further afield and can't find one :( grrrrrrrrrrr!!!

So my question is....anyone that got the cellophane, what did it look like? Is it on a roll? And has anyone seen it in more than one store? I really don't want a fruitless round trip!! Or if anyone else has tips of anywhere else I could try that would be fab. I thought about asking a florist but do they actually sell it? Thank you very much!

They are in rolls by the wrapping paper in a upright holder so be honest at a distnace they look like plain wrapping paper i wasn't sure until i picked them up. it is called something like plastic wrap

Its very nice i used some on a basket the other day

I had to go out for tissues and more cold & flu tablets, so I treated myself to a mini visit to Mr T. Not sure it was a good idea, cos my head is thumping now, so it's back to bed for me.

Just a little update though, from Brack**ll north ..... I might have missed something, I was walking around in a daze.

    * I got the last cupcake mix, scans at £1
    * About 15 of the xmas cake mix left - SEL & scans at £2
    * I got the last 2 x pink Koko - scanning at £1.01
    * Dormans out of date pistachios still 40pish
    * Thorntons wrapped chocs mentioned earlier, scanning at £8 as per SEL
    * No cheap mugs or trays. No Mingles
    * No 1p giant choc buttons, or lucazade, or green tea, or Harry nuts
    * Couldn't see the frozen choc sponge for 25p that was mentioned
    * got a 4 pack of finest strawberry yogs whoospied for 50p ish (1/4 of normal price) Lots more in reduced section.

A family member went to Brack**ll Home plus at the Peel centre and they have Pink Koko and Mingles for £1.01 in stock, but no cheap mugs or trays.

You must have been there just after me then! I got 2 of the KoKos and hid the other 2 behind the nutty ones. Was going to PM you but only just got on here so glad you found them anyway.

I got the last few Splendas in there too but I'm sure there will be more in (never seen them on a clip strip in MH)

They also have plenty of the Spontex rubber gloves which are scanning at 31p.

Went to the HomePlus a few days ago but they had no KoKos or Mingles so they are still getting stock in...

They have plenty of Green Tea in MH ;)

Found some Spontex Flexi Soft scourers on a clip strip for 33p in MH but there were only 3 so I had them all, sorry! None in BN(W) Probably some more out there though. BC ends 77062. RRP is £1.33

Thanks to everyone who has posted their bargains :)

Back from a wee wander round T's - nothing exciting apart from all of their bags of potatoes were half price (someone must have over ordered!!) - all dated 26th Dec,not that that matters with tatties anyway; Did pop into Homebase though and found a lonely box with a black led/fibre optic christmas tree in it - scanned at £5 but had been £49.99 - couldn't resist it!! http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=110&storeId=10151&partNumber=1644771
