I had to go out for tissues and more cold & flu tablets, so I treated myself to a mini visit to Mr T. Not sure it was a good idea, cos my head is thumping now, so it's back to bed for me.

Just a little update though, from Brack**ll north ..... I might have missed something, I was walking around in a daze.

    * I got the last cupcake mix, scans at £1
    * About 15 of the xmas cake mix left - SEL & scans at £2
    * I got the last 2 x pink Koko - scanning at £1.01
    * Dormans out of date pistachios still 40pish
    * Thorntons wrapped chocs mentioned earlier, scanning at £8 as per SEL
    * No cheap mugs or trays. No Mingles
    * No 1p giant choc buttons, or lucazade, or green tea, or Harry nuts
    * Couldn't see the frozen choc sponge for 25p that was mentioned
    * got a 4 pack of finest strawberry yogs whoospied for 50p ish (1/4 of normal price) Lots more in reduced section.

A family member went to Brack**ll Home plus at the Peel centre and they have Pink Koko and Mingles for £1.01 in stock, but no cheap mugs or trays.

Hey theres lots of trays at my store...do you have a pic/ know description/ barcode? :) thanks

Is it only in Wales we are charged for carriers in every shop including Tesco/Mcdonalds/chinese/chip shop etc:eek:? Must be Scotland also? They are normally 1st when it comes to stupid laws being passed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Grr angry email just gone off to Philip Clarke. On Tuesday I tried the OEP again and once again it didn't take off the 3 for 2 on the dinner kits (and tortillas) so I went to customer services and the duty manager took me along and told me as the label underneath the dinner kits did not have 3 for 2 labels then they were not included. I pointed to the shelf above where the label had clearly written '3 for 2 on Old El Paso Range inc Dinner KIts'. She replied saying more of the range was on offer earlier in the week and now the dinner kits were not included. I wasn't up for arguing so took the kits and the rest of my shopping and left.
Got home and sent an email via the form on the tesco website, today I get an email basically telling me to call them as they won't be replying to my original email! Phoned them up and the woman I spoke to was most unhelpful, told me to go back to the store and when I told her I had already been to the store she said 'well they were not included then'!! Luckily I have photographic evidence of the lable stating dinner kits were included so popped that in an email to the CEO asking why it isn't misrepresentation.
Sorry rant over I am just so annoyed over this. :(

Hi Beki, thanks but i think you might have read two posts one after the other and got them confused, it's someone else's mum who has the liver problems. I think it was confused with my post about my friend's mum dying this morning...

    Hope you're ok btw?

I realise now I never replied to the lady who posted about her mum being ill, I hope things go well with the liver trouble xx

After the several posts on the perils of drinking and liver damage, my dark, inappropriate sense of humour found this really funny! :rotfl:
