Oh dear tell her its not the cost its the thought that counts:D I would be very happy whoospied or not, thinking about it its better whoospied actually I would not want my OH paying full price for something I would be throwing away a week later. If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Thank you Calm Spirit, yes I have my receipt and the label is still firmly on the turkey, so I will definitely call tesco tomorrow! I thought maybe the dtd policy had changed but it did seem like she wanted to hurry up so she could close up the last time.
If you dont get the response you want first time you call, hang up and call back. Its worked for me several times:DIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Well, I've had a day and a half. The daughter was bitten by a dog. If the granddaughter had been facing the other way, it could well have been her. All sorted now with tetanus injection and anti-biotics but they are still a bit shocked. Took the 90 year old father-in-law shopping. He bought extra strong flour and when I asked why, he said that he's decided to give bread making a go! Then he bought a box containing ten sachets of porridge oats. We took him home, put the shopping in his kitchen and started to help him putting away his shopping. He opened a large, plastic cereal container and opened up each of the individually wrapped porridge oats into the container!0
