Evening everyone. had a few tesco free days, been very busy & dh finally thinks I've lost it after the OEP lol

evening all...hope the nightshift are behaving tonight!!

just back from Ts...took me ages to find the Genius gluten free mince pies...then forgot to use moc!! No new toys or electrical bits that I could see, although have noticed a lot of * products have had stickers over the barcodes and handwritten barcodes (the same as original though)...is this to stop us scanning??!! Got trouted on a pork shoulder...SEL was £2.49 per kg...I was charged £5.49 per kg....CS desk had shut so asked if they could confirm in writing I could get DTD tomorrow..was refused...went with SA to SEL...she told me it was for wrong product as SEL said 'large' on it...I said they were all different weights so how would I know which was meant to be large? She then got night manager to check...her agreed to overcharge...went back to CS desk where SA got 4 different people to help her as no one knew how to refund on a weighed product!! Then I mentioned DTD...she refused so she called another manager...she was a lovely old lady...soooo lovely!!! She told SA to give me DTD...SA refused again saying day shift have had memo that DTD has ended..I was about to ask why the signs were still up then and why no one else seems to be aware of it but didnt get chance as manager shouted at her 'well its not day shift now, and the board says DTD so do it...OK?'....in the end they were having a hard time working it out so I asked them to just put it through as an overcharge of double...so got it for free!!!

Have emailed Uncle Phil to praise the manager who was lovely and to enquire whether she was right to give me DTD or if the SA was right in that its ending (doubtful!)....Looking forward to Xmas dinner now with our free turkey, free pork, 50p Aunt bessies roasties and stuffing balls, RTC and frozen pigs in blankets and glitching mince pies!!!
