    Another question or two...

How long can you feed a cake for?

How much do you feed it and how often?

    Until your full :p

Hi everyone, normally a lurker on this thread as I haven't found anything to contribute yet, but there is a possible dtd on turkeys. I noticed that a few medium fresh turkeys had £28.00 in the price box of the label, but a big red label with £19 on too. It scanned at £28, but the customer service woman who had just shut up the till said it 'probably didn't qualify for dtd, as it wasn't an offer, just a till pricing error' - is this correct? If not though it should mean that you could get a £28 turkey for £10. It looks like someone has made a mistake when labelling the turkeys as not all of the £28 turkeys had the £19 sticker on, so I wouldnt make a special trip but worth looking for if you're instore!

Any pricing error qualifies for DTD. If the turkeys are stickered at £19 they should go through at that price, so if they don't - DTD. Stores will try anything to get out of giving DTD, from what I read here... Don't be fooled away.

Been to Hemsw0rth T's tonight and only find a couple of things that may be of interest. Head and shoulders 3 in 1 kids 400ml, SEL stated £3 odd reduced to 70 odd pence I think. Sorry can't remember exact prices. None on the shelf but someone may have luck in other stores. Also big silver heavy dog bowl with a rubber rim base (good quality) was £8 odd and reduced to £1.75. Was on end of aisle with reduced items. I didn't buy but there were several there.

Doh!!! It's vosene not head and shoulders!!

No better to have whoopsied flowers than not at all, I have bought them for others before in the past just make sure you take the reduced label off and look for the best of the bunch in there. If there are any broken heads just remove them :D

Done all the above but the Mrs know me too well!

bought her a lovely bunch of orchids...1st thing she says is "how much did you pay for these!"

Welcome amcl and thanks for the heads up ....would be a great one if it works this way in other stores!

For what it's worth......you should have had DTD and if I were you I would phone head office tomorrow and complain ....presume you have receipt showing £28 and item with a £19 label on?

I cant believe they go against T's policy and lie like that - this is a blatant OVERCHARGE for which you will get DTD

Thank you Calm Spirit, yes I have my receipt and the label is still firmly on the turkey, so I will definitely call tesco tomorrow! I thought maybe the dtd policy had changed but it did seem like she wanted to hurry up so she could close up the last time.
