I have copied this from the old thread.
I think i have the hang of this now. Found some more today and a DTD.
They are all from the clipstring and was annoyed that the store had removed all the self scanners. Found a lovely lady at the photo shop to scan them for me. I think it helps that i have a cute looking 1 yr old.
I was in So*th*all

I think given the relative newness of both of your employments, your jobs could be forfeited, if you don't work as asked.
Would he have accrued any paid holiday by now anyway?
Most firms that need workers in over bank holidays, stagger who works. Other employees may be prepared to swap with your BF, although that is unlikely I would have thought.
If you can't go at Christmas, you can celebrate with your families, say for new year, or birthdays or....
he works there for 3,5 years... he was on call for 4 weeks non-stop last xmas/new year for everyone else and this year nobody except him wants holidays... still noone wants to replace him on call and his manager won't ask anyone! I do think it's unfair...and the next opportunity to go home would be Easter with which they will surely make problems too as more people will want time off! I hate them!0 -
yay found you

Then he must talk with his manager and if holidays not agreed this year, perhaps he should consider looking for alternative work too.
