Bf still didn't get time off for xmas so we might not be able to go home to spend it with our families:(:( his company is soo mean! :mad: I am going to give CAB a call on Monday where we would stand if we went despite them refusing to let him go... They are threatening disciplinary actions but not sure how far they would go...

No deals to be had in my local today, funniest thing was the CDM SEL said 34p or......wait for it 2for £2 !!! Shelf was empty otherwise I would have tried it to see if a discount came off for 2:D purely for research pruposes of course - not sure I could sneak another bar in my wardrobe:)
Off on a long long drive from Kent to Liverpool tomorrow for mum's birthday......I SO want to stop off a few T's but the journey is 5 hours as it is.....then back again the next day.
Please dont have any glitches while I am away as mum doesnt have internet :eek:YNWA JFT96 :A0 -

I think given the relative newness of both of your employments, your jobs could be forfeited, if you don't work as asked.
Would he have accrued any paid holiday by now anyway?
Most firms that need workers in over bank holidays, stagger who works. Other employees may be prepared to swap with your BF, although that is unlikely I would have thought.
If you can't go at Christmas, you can celebrate with your families, say for new year, or birthdays or....The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
