After 2 days of christmas cake icing and decorating (all 9 of them), truffle making, DIY chocolate orange doing (I was too late for the real thing!), mince pie making, wrapping and card writing, i am finally sat down with a cup of tea :-)

And guess whats for dinner?! Enchilladas is what :-D) Was all i could get so it'll do for me!

Adnittedly when I do my mammoth sessions I iron everything (except socks as well Nikki ;)) OH comments he has a whole new wardrobe of clothes when it's done :o Ironing is piled high over the back of an Ikea Poang chair. So when the chair tips over from the weight it's time:rotfl:
We have a super king bed & I have to iron the flat sheets folded in half as I need a line down the centre to put it on the bed even :o
before i start rambling could some kind person reiterate (sp) what the technika dvd offer was please?
The £13 Technika DVD player is a HDMI Upscaling DVD Player (Model HDMISS10) BAR 8015 - The SEL is £26

I have returned to an irate OH as DVD player would not work for him  :( so we actually read (see my motto) the instructions properly :o but still wouldn't work :(
Luckily........we had bought another for my sister & tried that one & it works :T:T:T The sound & quality is fabulous & it's tiny. The old DVD player is like a breeze block in comparsion :D

Noticed they have them in stock in my Mr T this afternoon so he can swop the dud one tomorrow :):)

Will put old one on Freegle & someone's chucked out a washing machine for binmen so I've put that on Freegle too. I hate pointless waste :o
    Our Family Motto ~
If all else fails - read the instructions...

best thing is that I am drinking it out of my crystal glasses that have been packed away since a) my kids were born and b) have moved house more often than I care to admit.

Now in my forever home God willing, I have unpacked them!

All on display now all i need is the drinks to go with them!:rotfl::rotfl:have some gorgeous brandy ones- so nice to drink out ! Might try the wine ones tomorrow - they might make the cheap T wine drinkable!

my oldest is 18 in Feb so my glasses have been packed away for years and years!
