  • What a helpful post! No scanner in my local, so I am mostly guessing when getting stuff (and playing dumb when it is expensive!). Was the super glue on the clip strip? (saw loads yesterday and wondered..!) and please how much were the dehumidifier sachets.. OH spent the day rescuing 'stuff' from what used to be a shed!

Think it's time for a cup of green tea :rotfl:

Good to hear that my carp posts are of use :rotfl:. The dehumidifier was a pack of three. the box is mainly blue with 151 small space Dehumidifier bags written on the front, bc ends 0090. It shows an image of a chest of drawers with one draw open and a sachet being inserted. It was on clip strip down the DIY isle. It was the only one and cost 15p.

The glue was on clip strips . They are Ultraloc super glue ultimate strenth. One is liquid formula, the other is non-drip gel. They cost 10p each. I bought them as I have no doubts that the kids will break at least one of their new Xmas gifts so will be able to try to put it back together to avoid the tears.

Yay can I join the strip club please? First time I have posted a pic here too so I hope it works :)
It works! Wonder what people are going to think when they see Sarah Smith pretty wipes among all the newborn photos on my flickr? LOL

Is that a clip strip? Looks rather short!

Need to get my Special Advisor to confirm.

If mummy says then welcome to the club. :T

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I am FINE spending xmas on my own, I live alone, it's just a flamin' day! But no-one believes I don't care very much.

What I care about is being made to explain myself on any level, mind you that's over anything I do that people can't understand, like how I go on two holidays a year alone and don't get lonely (excepting the first two days when I'm tired/haven't got everything the way I want it yet).

I love the peace of xmas day, it's so nice having a day when the roads are really quiet, all the shops (save some little offies) are shut, you know everyone's got a roast in the oven. Then it hits 2/3pm, everyone's finished opening presents and finished dinner so they all come online and it's like every other day hahahaha!

That's what annoys me - having to justify why I'm quite happy to spend it on my own! I could spend it with my mum and dad but we would drive each other mad and it's not the same in someone else's house is it? Just enjoy doing my own thing, eating loads and watching whatever c**p on the TV I want to!! And there's no shortage of good grub in this house thanks to MSE!!!:j

I couldn't imagine the stress of planning weeks ahead and having to get it all perfect ...where's the fun in that!
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!
