Actually talking about deliveries, I had a delivery of books, about £100 worth for DS for Xmas from Amazon on friday. DS found them, they had been left in front of my car on the drive!!!! The delivery card even said in front of car! They could have been easily pinched but what annoyed me more was that my DS found them and now knows that he's got them as part of his xmas pressie. He obviously didnt open them and I've bluffed that it's a pressie for his dad but he doesnt believe me so I was pretty peed off:(

Amazon did this to me last week too left the box in full view in front of my door, best thing was i was in all day but they never even knocked and son almost tripped over the box when we were going out. luckily for me DS is only 5 so did not realise what could be in the box.

  • But you left the car open on the drive!

Sorry but I really can't understand anyone complaining at a delivery driver using their initiative when they are faced with open cars, unlocked porches/front doors or other convenient places to leave packages.
she never said inside the car she said in front of the car

Oh I was assuming they meant on the ground in front of the car.

I have a parcel at the moment at the royal mail parcel office but they can't find it. They have a porta cabin for names a-j and all the parcels are jumbled in there in no particular order that I can see. Hubby waited for half an hour while 3 of them rummaged and chucked parcels around but couldn't find it.
Oooooh on re-reading it I think you could be right! I read it as in the front of the car. If he left them on the drive out in the elements not knowing when someone would be back then thats rather stupid and is worthy of a complaint imo.

    Sorry nikki! :)
