    I know a lot of my family are struggling, thats why I maxed this one out, as much as I could. I agree I dont buy things just for the sake of buying. But I will buy loads of things I will use or can share out.

    We have donated so many toys this year, thanks to tesco and the boots meccano glitch.

    It feels great to share the bounty. Im a big believer in karma.[/QUOTE]

    Since I was a teenager I have always gone by it is better to give than recieve

    My children see all these bags of things coming in, it started with the Terry's chocs (:eek:) and I took a bag of them to the local children's home explaining to my children that there are some children less fortunate than themselves and through mummy getting special offers (:eek:) that her friends tell her of (:A:D) we can make a child smile.

    I am on a mission now to try and get as many things as possible to do my shoe boxes next November, I managed 6 this year, my children all helped sort, fill & wrap them up :)

    Sorry I am waffling....lack of alcohol :rotfl::rotfl:

    Perhaps the sombrero could become the new sign, instead of having to ask 'are you a friend of Martin?' :beer:

  • Isn't that what men do when they are filling in the stats on dating sites?:eek:

    For crying out loud it's 1am and no one has confirmed whether the glitch is still working.

    Please state;
    (i) Which store you visited
    (ii) Which type of store
    (iii) Self scan or normal till
    (iv) How many trouts in attendance
    (v) Was anyone wearing a sombrero

    TIA

    I think this one is dead and buried now. Now the real question is, will it make the papers and will any of our pics get used? :D

    As above, I got a single packet of the clipper tea for 1p.

    Ps watch out for ALL the Dormans on clip strips in King5w@y, they were ALL out of date, some middle of November!

    Oh, Christmas Cakes £3 at above store, not sure of the other locals as not been able to wander much.

    Lastly, woopsies were plentiful in fruit & veg, bakery too about 5pm. Now if I'd only known about the oep then!!!

    Check the use by dates. We got some wraps to test the deal with and they will last until next June. My kids are not keen on sandwiches but do like the wraps so I do chicken kebabs with them every couple of weeks. 'Charity begins at home' as they say.
