I think if what big Chris said was actually true, then he shouldn't report the butcher ! The guy was up front with him regarding how he came to possess the swan. I can't believe someone could actually eat the meat knowing that it was swan but thats my opinion.
I also think the butcher giving him the meat was actually probably an act of kindness at xmas, (weird as it maybe ) - so reporting him is just wrong. If he didn't take the meat or was offended by the offer he should of turned it down !

As for the carcass, I have no idea what you would do? I'd assume you put it in the bin with other rubbish and it will go to landfill along with all the neighbours? Just tell the butcher you weren't that fussed on the meat and he'll not do it again.
