Looks good, thanks for posting - I'll be looking out for that too tomorrow. Gawd, my list gets longer and longer
Hope you manage to wake up properly and Mum's trip to hospital goes OK. I am off to heospital too at 12 noon to take my friend/neighbour for a conference with several doctors to decide whether to fuse her leg/knee straight or remove her leg from above the knee   She is very worried about it, understandably, so has asked me to go in with her, which of course I will. She has Rhuematoid Arthritis/Fibramalgia and broke her knee/leg 13 months ago but they sent her home without any physio and her knee is bent sideways, she can't straighten it, or put her foot on the ground, and it is agony for herThey eventually operated to remove the steel pins but it has been even worse since, so she demanded a second opinion and that is what this conference is about. She lives alone, 4 doors away from me, and I look in on her each day, do some shopping/jobs for her and am on her insurance so take her shopping every other week in her DLA car, and to docs/hospital appointments. I've got to admit, I am worried about what they might decide tomorrow too
Thanks, not sure exactly what she's going for, I know it's something to do with her shoulder though.
Ouch, that sounds bloody painful! :eek:0 -
Woohoooooo Little Mix wonnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!
Do you have glands under your jaw? I’ve been feeling rough since this morning and now I have a painful swelling just under my jaw bone on one side. I expect that’s what it is but just wondering as that last time my glands came up it was on only one side but in front of my ear….
Beki, I’ve been in your situation, I went through years of this and left it too long before seeing the doc, by which time (Dec 2006) I was in such a state I couldn’t even function socially even on a basic one-to-one level, I have been on the low starting dose of anti-depressants since that time and they keep me on an even keel. If you think you might be depressed then remember depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain, anti-ds are there to right the imbalance and lift the fog off your brain, so you can then deal with the underlying issues without the small stuff getting in your way xxbargainhustler wrote: »To the person on the old thread who wanted pics and barcode of the baby blue pencil case I got for 8p, sorry for the delay, but I will get round to it. Been mega busy the last coupke of days and havent had much time.
That may have been me, no worries, I haven’t seen a baby blue pencil case on my travels anyway!I wish English stores opened after 4 pm on Sundays ................. but I will definitely be on the lookout for this tomorrow mmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Well done on the new find Kadison
Woohoo my first find! There was only one left at the store in Brum where I found it so I doubt I was the first to notice lol!I agree - slimming w0rld plan gone to pot and sitting here drinking a bottle of free strawberry cider, and eating 1p Dead Heads after a bar of CDM

I must admit I was laughing (albeit nervously) when I saw the charred microwave and asked what had happened!
Hope your mum’s hospital trip goes ok xxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Aye it's always easier when they are busy
Don't think I'd be that brave mind you! I remember getting the Roses for 1p a while back and totally flinging them in my bag hoping no one would notice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

My last lot of 1p bargains was Thomas cutlery and the cheeky monkey signs. I scanned stuff really slowly then when the SA covering the SS tills got called to another till I scanned like Speedy Gonzales on speed! From memory the main SS screen shows 5 or 6 items so it was a race to scan 10 individual jars of baby porridge just to clear the SS screen of any bargains!0 -
