Believe me, I understand your pain. Samaritans always helps me when I'm down. Hope you feel better soon, John.0

I would agree - get in touch with someone somehow - samaritans, 999, nhs direct, crisis team.... these people are there to support you through times like this.
Thinking of you xxI don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
RIP POOCH 5/09/94 - 17/09/070 -
i did speak to the doc who just upped my meds. spoke to samaritians but unable to helpPlease speak to a doctor or as a start point to the Samaritans.
You need profesisonal help, people on the internet aren't qualified to help you. There is help there - so please pick up the phone

i think she was talking to someone else while i was on the phone, very long pauses, so i made my excuses and felt i had to get off the phoneHappySaver1968 wrote: »Believe me, I understand your pain. Samaritans always helps me when I'm down. Hope you feel better soon, John.0 -
Ring them again, speak to the emergency doctor and tell them how you are feeling. Upping the med's won't help immediately so you might need help from the hospital. xxx0

Really? What were you laying? Eggs?
I think I'll pass on the vodka, then. I wouldn't want to turn into a hen. :rotfl:
"Lie" is not the same as "lay!"
OP: I have no idea what the cause of your problems is, but I hope things work out for you.0 -
Big hugs to you my dear, hope you can get through this very difficult time.
Do you have children who you can go to and spend time with so you are not alone? Any other family? I felt so much pain when my partner left me whilst pregnant but I did get through it by talking and spending time with others.
Have you got a care co-ordinator under mental health, is there a crisis team in your area who work all hours to help those who need it?
Alternatively you could turn up at a and e if it is nearer who will get you the help you need?
Do not be alone, you need help.0 -

I don't think the OP was asking for grammatical advice, nor to be laughed at. Levity is often appreciated, but when someone is truly crying out for help I find posts like this highly inappropriate.
OP, I'm sorry I have no advice but I really hope you manage to work things out and are able to enjoy your Christmas. :grouphug:0 -
I think the person who mentioned booze could have put it another way. If you are feeling low don't drink booze, as it will usually magnify problems and can cause severe depression. However, Darlingbuds made no mention of booze.
Darlingbuds.. as others have said the Samaratian are great. You can keep phoning them even if you have already contacted them. They are marvelous. If your not feeling right - reach out and get some help. If you contact your emergency doctor or hospital - you will also get support.

If you read it again carefully, you'll note my post had two parts to it. The part you've quoted out of context was directed at the smart alec, not the OP. The part you've omitted was for the OP. You've conveniently omitted the part where I gave the OP my best wishes, to make it look like I am some kind of heartless prat.
I have no idea why you'd want to do that to me, since you don't know me from Adam, but hey. Maybe you had a bad day and wanted to take it out on a random stranger.
OP, as I said before, I hope you are doing OK and are getting help from somewhere.0
