My DD BF has his Christmas do tonight so they DD and DGS will come back and have tea with us. I have made a huge chicken pie so just got to shove it in the oven.

Morning ladies, Jackie G my thoughts are with you and yours hunnie.
Hugs for all. Bbbbbrrrrr still cold but the wind had dropped and a lovely blue sky. Have put some sheets on the line for a couple of hours. Hopefully they might dry.
Going to do some Christmas shopping today, have bought ds3 some Hugo Boss aftershave from a website perfumes something or another , 200ml for 34.99 :j:j. , that is about all I have got so far
:o so need to write a list and get me bum in gear. So woofer is off to a friends for the day and I'm off with another friend to try and get the majority done. Wish me luck.;)
Had a knock on the door at 10 to 9 , the florist was standing there with the biggest bunch of flowers I have ever seen, and a thank you card from Andrew and his mum the daft pair of beggers. But it is nice to feel appreciated.
Dinner will be toad in the hole with mash and onion gravy . Everything prepared so just needs to be cooked later.
House is clean and tidy apart from the bathroom that had a lick and a promise to do it properly tomorrow;).
So in a nutshell, help you all stay safe and have a good day.

QUOTE Tru:
Bramble I have made you a cake :bdaycake: I didn't forget your birthday (errrmmm, ahem, cough cough). I was at work yesterday so I made it last night. Obviously it was too warm to ice, so I had to leave it until this morning. You do believe me, don't you??
.[/QUOTE]
nice one
well i am exhausted after an early morning of stroppy teenagers and an even stroppier , grumpy DH they think the world revolves round them and when it doesnt for a micro second they all kick off- well this morning i kicked off straight back
went out for lunch yesterday with some friends which was lovely and had a great catch up
off to do the last of the xmas shopping later
hope everyone has a peaceful day xxxx0 -
Well...i've done the housework, cleaned out the rabbit and the dog has the last of his bones from the butchers, which will keep him busy till about sunday! The telly is still blown up so i guess I may as well go out and try do some more Christmas shopping!
I'm struggling for a gift for my boss, she owns a horse, and i'd like to get her something useful, but just don't know what!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Morning all!
Grey and gloomy here today, and it's just got colder, can feel the temp dropping!
Jac - much love to all of you xxxxx
Dazi - thinking of you too hun xxxx
Hester - the minder's ex boss will now be able to save loads of money, serves him right for being downright sneaky!
Molly - I had a browse of the benefits board the other day, jeepers, some people are scary, and more than a little closed and intolerant, reminded me why I stick to the OS board!
Mrs Mix - congrats to your daughter, bet you were beaming proudly
Cookie - WHAT????!!!!!
JackieO - have a lovely lunch, I wish my kids had a granny like you - would you consider adopting me please?
Taplady - great news about your car, such a relief when they pass! Enjoy Ludlow, and have a super brekkie in Lesley's memory, sure there will be much laughter xxx
JulieG - take hubby's advice and rest! I was exhausted and beyond uncomfy with dd4 for the last few weeks, I actually stood in Waitrose with dd1 unable to move for the pain one day, only to go into labour that afternoon, four weeks early! So take it easy Mrs! And let mil get on with it, won't do her any harm! xxx
Tiny pink decided to wake at 4am and 6am - wonder if it's cos OH is away and she can't hear his snoring to reassure her that we're still here, as she wasn't really hungry or wet! I was quite enjoying the no snoring lol! Anyway she has had brekkie and drifted off to sleep again in her cot.
Big monkeys are all at school and college, dd1 went off dressed as a pirate as it's charities week and they all dress up today, good job I'd dressed as one a while ago for something so had some bits! btw it was for a work charity thing, not anything smutty, I know how some of your minds work
So anyway, all is peaceful here today, just going to have a quick whizz around as yet again there isn't much mess, either I've binned everything or they are actually getting tidier!!! Then I need to go shopping, have a pile of vouchers to sort, and a list to write - actually got some vouchers from Mr T for stuff that we use, yippee! dd1 has given me her boots advantage card so I can use her points to get her pressie for her friend, clever lass!
Not heard from OH yet today, assume he is still in one piece otherwise I'm certain I'd have had a call from him! I shall be glad when I pick him up from the airport on Monday and can stop worrying lol!
Have a good day all, and give those you love an extra hug or three xxxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
jackieg I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear BIL My condolences to you and your family at this sad time .He is out of pain and at rest now. I shall remember him in my chats to The Big Guy tonight ,and you and your family of course. It's awful when one loses their fight especially when they are a close relative.Your family will need all of your love and support over the following weeks and months as the death of a loved one leave a great gap in everyones lives.Much love and <<hugs>> to you all.Be sad he is gone but glad that you knew and loved him.His pain is over and sadly the families starts
mummysaver Thank you, I think I have been adopted by several folk on here over the past few years, (Nelski was my first surrogate granddaughter bless her) I seem to be a sort of 'universal Granny' I don't mind as I always have lots of love to share around.
I have just done a few cards to post when I go out shortly.I am finding if I do around five a day its not too much writing as my right arm doesn't work very well,I can type better than write
I have a card list that gets sadly revised every year (at my age its an occupational hazard) and I work my way through it from the first week All my overseas ones have gone off so its only mainland UK ones to do now.
Right, looking at the clock its definitely coffee time
Take care everyone whatever and wherever you are you are all precious to someone
