  • Managed to save £5.60 on multibuys at Asda yesterday and I've just been to the garage to see how much the scrap man has given me for my old car which broke down before xmas and was unfortunately unfixable (the engine had sized - nightmare!) and he's given me £80 plus I got £10 for taking my sister and her dog to the PDSA so that's all going in the pot, good day today :D

Huge thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to post all the comps! :T

  • Sponge1980 - what is the facebook page?

    Hi CompletelyLost,

The page I use was one in my local area (the Orkney Isles, so I doubt it would be use to anyone else on here) Someone has set up a page that is basically like a classified ads page in a newspaper but its free to advertise. You just post a picture of what you have to sell and people message you if they're interested. If you want to have a look at it search Orkney Merkitplace on Facebook.

    Making Money/ Saving Money

I do quite a few of the American paid to click sites, you don't get much money, but I do them when I am listening to the radio/audio-books. PM me if you want a list of sites I use.

I also look out for free samples. At Christmas, if I am broke, then I will buy a cute basket from the 99p shop and fill the baskets with different samples.

I am also signed up to various sites that give you free tickets to watch TV shows filmed as it is a good night out for free!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have also just downloaded Qustodian. Its about me states: "Qustodian is a new service that allows you to receive personalised offers, promotions and news from those brands, shops and businesses of greatest interest to you. It does this via your mobile phone using the mobile internet and an optional App, which can be downloaded to your phone when you register. Not only is the Qustodian service free, you will receive great offers, direct to your mobile and actually be paid cash into your Qustodian account when you use and interact with the service."

sounds like some great ideas, thanks for sharing

i've cut mygrocery bill down by almost 2/3 rds these last two weeks. i'm not sure how much it'll equate to exactly yet so, to be on the safe side, i've been saving what i need for the £2012. i'll see exactly how much i've saved at the end of the month and maybe devide it between this and my SPC fund.
i've really gotta get started on ebay, but i've just had steroid injections in my knees yesterday , so will give them a couple of days to settle
