Hi all managed to save another £100:j from not buying loads of unnecessary items.

I cant believe how much money I used to spend:eek: I think the biggest saving is not eating out and I dont drink anymore.

I'm also on a diet which has cut out about £10/15 quid of my shopping a week.

Well I can honestly say that getting to this point in my life with money and myself has been a very long slog.

I started the stopping spending thing in 2007 but everything has been a very slow process as I havent much money to work with and I still have to pay out for loads of things e.g family, xmas, transport, food, etc.

The reason I tell you this is because I dont want people to think its easy saving when your a spender.

It's not but when I went on my first holiday with my family. That I'd paid for in cash by selling stuff on ebay.
I felt like I'd really achieved something.

My advice is even if you save £1.00 a week, over 12 months thats over £50. It's worth doing believe me.

Happy saving and big hugs to all that need it:grouphug:

Spending my totals instead of saving I am afraid, but just had to tell you all!! It is my eldest daughter's prom this year and she had set her heart on a Jovani dress at a cost of £850  problem being the only place I could get it from was New York - but she kindly did some research and said she coud organise to have it imported and delivered to Harrods and then we could have a weekend in London to collect (dont know who she thinks she is)!!!!

Anyway I could not justify the cost plus I cannot get it here in time for the prom anyway to problem solved. BUT I have managed to get a Jovani prom dress, some idiot bought two from America the same as he was unsure what size his daughter would take, never mind the cost of the dresses he paid nearly £300 import tax for the two alone!! So he has sold me the other one for £225 it is part of the 2012 collection, simply out of this world and on checking the cheapest I can get this one imported for is £750 so I have saved a small fortune :j very happy bunny so means I can keep on saving without having to use a big chunk for her dress :)

Spent yesterday putting 30 items on Ebay, most of high vale items so hoping for a good week as if no one knows, it is FREE LISTING WEEKEND AGAIN!!!!! So going to do my best to get to the 100 mark this weekend and then can start April off with another 100 :j

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and lots of savings to you all :T

Aw Clipperty well done on the Prom dress find! You and your daughter must be really pleased!

Well, I have hit my Swagbucks target already this morning, so I am on board for my bonus.

I have also signed up for Gift Hulk through the referrals board, and I'm about to try and get to grips with that. It seems very similar to Swagbucks only with lower amounts needed to withdraw. If anyone else on here uses it, please feel free to offer me some advice and tips.

I signed up to Survey Head and Zoom Panel through Swagbucks this morning, and already have £3.16 in the Survey Head pot, but I need to have a look at both of these properly later on.

I'm also going to give e-bay another chance and list some items this weekend, so it's all good!

How's everyone elses day going ?

ha ha I did Cally thank you for that. I have been googling Swag Codes but having no luck, where are you finding them ?

Its Gift Hulk hun, not gift head. I've just been having a look now. Theres a big referral link page on here for them and someone that works for them keeps adding bonus codes to that thread that last an hour, so an easy way to make extra points if you can keep an eye on it.

I was surprised how quickly I made the 100 bucks, there was 3 surveys on there, and the links to the 2 survey sites I signed up to. I watched a few videos, and used the search bar to go to my bank which gave me 25! I think thats the most I've ever had.

Does anyone on here use Maximiles ?

I used to use it, but havent for a while. I was under the impression that you could exchange the points for Amazon vouchers (which is what I'm after if I can't get cash), but I can't see it anywhere on the website.

Does anyone know if this is correct or not ?
