Cally and gill- Tesco gift voucher was for my surveys, not from MY SURVEY. Prob valued opinions as i do that the most. but like an amazon voucher you assume that you can spend it on Amazon, not just the bits amazon want to flog you- so to find a Tesco gift voucher can only spend on opticians, pharmacy, the catalogue, is crossing the line of taking the **** so i will not be visiting their pleasures again

It definitely was not from the Valued Opinions website. I have cashed out Tesco £10 gift cards from them numerous times and always use them just fine in store for food shopping
  • another £3 from surveys :)

will do a quarterly update on ebay profit/ (loss) next week

Thanks cally, they are not as bad as I thought then. I should of been clearer in that I was shopping on line where you cant use them for food, clothes, books. But was the final push I needed. I loved going to a different shop.

Can you sell ''normal'' second hand clothed on ASOS, or is it just vintage stuff ?

Gill, yep you can sell "normal" clothes on there too. It is predominantly "vintage" (or people calling second hand stuff vintage...) but there's no "age limit" on the clothes you sell.

Thrilled not really part of this challenge but have been doing the sealed pot challenge, a pound a day challenge and the £2 coining saver since 5th December. They were all in separate tins and was getting sick of having three tins and the big change pot next to my bed. I put change into them everytime I have change so several £1 coins can go in at a time and some days none. Have had my change jar for over a year with 1s 2s 5s 10s and 20s cannot be bothered to count and nearly at the top so will take to the bank and put in machine when finally full but I reckon there is over £200 in there but will see when I take that BUT I have just opened the other three tins so that I can transfer them into a larger tin all together and decided to count. Turns out in less than four months I have managed to save £53.50 in 50ps £158 in £2 coins and a staggering £352 in £1 coins . Will not add any of these to my totals until I decide to bank it but meaning that not including the change jar I have got an extra £589.50 without even trying now really understand the every penny is a prisoner therory :j:j

Another £11 saved in multibuys. I think that is it for me this month.
Not been so good as the previous 2 but it all helps.
Maybe I will read back over some of the old posts on the thread and get inspired again.

Can I count £113 gathered up from coins lying about the house? I guess this is technically saving rather than upping income??
