Finally found the time to add in some extra work I did in Jan and Feb. £24 for Jan and £48 for Feb.

This brings my total to £203.69 - 10% of the target!
  • Feeling really fed up. Have just put 10 DVDs into Music Magpie to see that I could a whopping £3 something. All I've had this month is £5 from Opinion Outpost, £4 clubcard vouchers and £0.91 from an ebay sale. I am awaiting £25 from Vivatic but just don't see how I'm going to ever hit the target, let alone by the end of the year. There have been things like multibuy savings and buying reduced meat and freezing it but I would have done that anyway before this challenge so wasn't going to count it. I think at this rate I might have to rethink the things I'm counting towards the challenge because I'm just getting disheartened with it all.

Sorry, just needed a rant. I'm sure things will look up! Well done to everyone who is doing so well! :)

Don't be disheartened - I know you are trying your best, just stick at it and keep going. There is no need to feel bad about being behind, I am behind as well. Regardless of whether I achieve the target in the end, I can still proudly say I made some extra income/ saving.
  • Thank you! I know you are right, have picked myself up, dusted myself off and am putting those DVDs on ebay. If they don't sell then they'll go to music magpie or one of the other similar sites. Just gotta keep going! :) x

    Hi all,
I had a good day with regards to savings.
Went shopping at Mr T's and saved £7.92 on teabags, £6 in coupons, £9 on multibuys and £30 on toys for an upcoming birthday. So £52.92 saved in total :j.
I think this will be it for this month so I am going to update my sig and then P.M Mennie with my total.

Just added £25 to my account as a pair of DH's trousers were sold on ebay - they were really nice Craghoppers ones and I hoped they'd fetch this sort of price. Oh, and DD's dressing gown sold for the sum of - wait for it - £1.24! All helps doesn't it.

Not expecting anything to arrive before the end of the month, so time to add up - now at £649.67 or 32.3%. Had hoped to find an extra £20 to take me to the third of the way there mark, but still going well. There's another £355.27 in the pipeline and £54 of vouchers to stash away too, neither counts until they are saved and at least some of that will probably have to be sent to car tax next month, but the halfway mark's in sight!

mennie, PM sent with the total
  • Another £3 claimed from Mysurvey.eu.
Can't believe I'm over the £500 mark and it's only Feb.

Next month will def. be quieter for me as I have almost run out of stuff to sell now :(
