income is bit slow for me but will get a boost when paid end of feb due to all overtime i've been doing
  • Managed to do an Ocado shop for next week using the £20 off your first order although some items were more expensive there was still a good saving to be had. I was hoping I could also use my £30 John Lewis vouchers against it as well (which I got free with a £1 subscription to Which) but Ocado has stopped taking them on the 1st Feb!

Up to £619.45 now, and with post-Christmas clubcard points turning up there is £54 waiting for me to shift vouchers over to savings (I spend the vouchers, then save what I would have spent) and £22.98 in transit through the banking system so almost up to the £700 mark. Need to have a good ebay session soon, as stuff is piling up and I just need to get on and list it.

Well done to all for some great progress too :D

Great to use it for first time shopping with a big voucher but if you look back you will see I spent around £12 more using Ocado than Tesco for the same items !! I'd only use them when special offers are on.

Really going to list a few items on ebay when kids in bed with 10 day listing as I hope to get a decent amount for them (fingers crossed).

:T Pretty decent start to February, I am at £95 which is more than I earnt in January and am awaiting a few more cheques and vouchers to come in...

Ebay profit this month at £70 already, small cheque from Music Magpie for £6+ for CDs that wouldnt budge on ebay, awaiting payment for Mystery Shopping and my first Superpoints pay out - only took me 5 days from joining and well on my way to my next.

Only managed £2 from Tesco vouchers this quarter but that's probably because I prefer to shop in Aldi, managed 3 half price Graze boxes this months so that's a £5.37 saving (will cancel after offer) not to forget my free CD I chose with my Maximiles points...

Have joined up for a few more cashback and survey sites and stepped the pace up on a few I'd forgotten about so should have a few more cashouts than normal over the next few months. :D

Only one gripe, loving this challenge and its brought me to use the MSE forum much more and have exchanged ideas publicly and by PM with other challenge/forum members but I do find some of the 'old timers' can be quite hostile... Tried posting a Superpoints link where if used would award the new member 25 points, a good start towards payout and it was deleted... I was being genuinely friendly, offer the bonus out - it only lasts 48 hours so if anyone does want it you know where I am! Is there any need for the hostility though, that's why I stopped using MSE last time.

Keep up the good work fellow challengers!

  • All I have to do is look at this forum and I get motivated again, just added an extra 2 items on eBay now. I just wondered if there is a guide or anything that shows websites you can make money on for other things - I'm not familiar with mystery shopping and cashback websites or anything like that.

This thread gives you a lot of good sites to join just by reading other peoples posts etc. Also the referrers board is a good one to sift through... You'll always get advice on what sites are best.

  • £12 cashback and £6 bank interest pays for gelato's whilst watching the gondola's!

re not knowing about cashback- its great read the guide on the main site and on you go, not had any problems with it, although im sure a well known household name company has just moved their payment date back by 3 months.
