Does seem rather odd that he objects to you commenting and on-topic unlike him.0 -

No you don't, you can operate as many TV's or equipments that are capable of receiving broadcasts as you want but you only need a licence if you use one to watch or record live TV as it is actually being broadcast.0 -

Which implies you have equipment capable of being operated to receive live broadcasts, and is being operated to do so.
Unless you know of a method of receiving Live TV Broadcasts that doesnt use any electrical equipment?

What are you talking about, you posted an incorrect statement from your posts so far on these forums it appears no one is allowed to disagree with any of your opinions.
Yes I happily watch live broadcasts as although it is nothing to do with you, I have a TV licence.0 -
LincolnshireYokel wrote: »No, you see that was a disingenuous bit of editing to try and 'prove a point'
Try all you like we seen you said a TV Licence was needed and I've quoted the BBC website proving it isn't. As for your I.T background, well it has nothing to do with this does it.LincolnshireYokel wrote: »Ah yes, as I said, no balls when no anonymous, I see why you have no wife, she probably gave you regular good leatherings. Am I supposed to be scared by 'ex-army'? What was you, a batman or cook ?
Plenty of balls unlike someone acting big behind a monitor with his feather duster.
I'll leave your pathetic threats and insults for the mods to deal with, you've done it enough times on this thread alone0 -

You still have not explained what this rant was about, merely because someone informed you that you had posted incorrect information.
Also you should read the Forum Etiquette before you post more abuse on these forums. Please be nice to all MoneySavers : There's no such thing as a stupid question and, even if you disagree, courtesy helps.

and it was after that post these two other idiots stared attacking me, and making various untrue accusations about me, such as accusing me of working for EE, and then accusing me of working for the BBC (I cant work for both, they need to make there mind up). I dont insult anyone who hasnt insulted me first.
I presume you have decided to pick up the torch and carry on where the other two left off? Is there a queue or something ? Can you tell me how long im going to be the target, i need to go and make a coffee........**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts. NO, you need a license to watch live TV, operating a TV capable of watching live TV does not require a license0 -
I don't know why this debate is still going on, but to put an end to it.
"If you don’t watch or record television programmes as they are being shown on TV, on any device, you don’t need a TV Licence. Here’s how you can let us know."
