argh just gets better and better. Got my dispatch email saying my new santa was on its way but no email about missing mint chocs. Had to spend another 15 mins on hold just to get through before they said they would send them out. Casual as you like. No apology. God knows what my phone bill will be like. And whos to say this second santa wont be broken. Love christmas but god it gets my blood pressure up!0

just received this reply from Thorntons to my email about the smashed santa:
'I have arranged to resend models to you, enclosing an apology note from Thorntons Direct. This will arrive in the next few days. Unfortunately the large Santa model is now out of stock so I have sent a smaller Santa, and a snowman to replace this, along with the reindeer model.
I appreciate that the intended effect of the gift was lost and it is impossible now to make amends for this, however, I hope this will go some way to restoring your confidence in us'0 -

Thortons website has to be one of the worst on the net. Hate it.There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
