Do people ever buy these at full price?

This is one of the reviews written last year for the ultimate hamper -

Delivered in fantastic packaging. Quite amazed at the amount there is actually in there as when you read it online it doesn't actually sink in. Especially good value at £60.

Dunno, probably not, but ive just ordered this years festive delights(would never have paid the original £60 for it),but im getting it delivered for £26.95.
if you register your Email first they will send you a £5 off code.
I was lucky enough last year to get one of the massive £120 hampers for under £30in the glitch...would never have been happy paying £120,but was delighted to pay under £30.lol
this is the one working out at £26.95 with emailed code. http://www.thorntons.co.uk/p/sale_of_the_century/52932.html I think it will make a nice gift for my sisters family. :)

Bought this for my elderly aunt last year ... and when I rang she said it was too much for her, and she'd taken most of it into the home to give to everyone when she visited her friend in there!

Last year I managed to get the hamper half price @ £60 and if you spent over £60 you got the festive delights hamper free , so the deal was £180 worth of choc hampers for £60. Does anyone know if this deal will come up again? Obviously the price has gone up to 75, but it would be nice to get a free hamper!

Not sure, but the hamper that is now reduced to £75(this one. http://www.thorntons.co.uk/p/festive_hampers/52934.html ),isnt the same as the one that went to £60 last year(thats the one i got that gave double halfe price discount by mistake which is why some of us got it for less than £30)...I think this hamper at £50,looks more like the big one from last year,

Thorntons say the £150 down to £75 one is [I"]Our BIGGEST ever hamper!"[/I]
deals are changing day to day, keep an eye on the website..im happy with the festive delights at £26 as a gift, but would like a better deal on one of the bigger hampers for the family,so im gonna keep checking to see what they offer.

They're still doing the free 550g box of Continental Chocolates when you spend over £35 until 11th Dec. add item these http://www.thorntons.co.uk/p/all_christmas_gifts/2339.html and put in the code ...

Just realised it's in OP, nevermind.

    omg, death by chocolate..........;)
  • I tried adding the free chocs code, but you have to remove the previous code first. Thought that for me it was better to have 20% off......and better for the waistline of course!
