Next door's shed is in middle of our lawn

Our shed roof is in the middle of next door neighbours flowerbeds! Our fence is flat to the floor and some of our roof tiles are smashed on the main road.

Thank goodness it all seems to have calmed down now.

We lost power at half nine-ish this morning and just got back on at 10pm. Hellish wind much worse than Bawbag. They said on BBC it was 102mph at Blackford hill in Edinburgh - and I'm higher than that :)

I was supposed to be driving down through a lot of Scotland home to Nottingham today - saw the weather warnings last night about the storm force winds, and this morning my mum and sis both phoned me with tales of lorries closing the motorways on my route. So I've stayed put today, will attempt the drive tomorrow.

It was very gusty from around 3am here near Dundee.

It must have been hell in scotland, everywhere seemed to be 90-100+. It was only 70 here in gusts but that was frightening. I remember being in cardiff one very windy day and I could hardly stand up. So much strength and power in the wind

I am going around the garden today, checking bolts etc as the wind may have loosened some. I`m also checking to see if anything has moved and I`ll be ready to tie down. Scary to think that this is going to be the pattern of things to come

I made the drive home in one piece today, 7 hours (including a stop) in pretty much a constant car wash. the wind was attempting to drive the car on the exposed roads as well in parts.

It's taken out four of a neighbours fence panels and taken out / broken one of mine. I spotted another bent but not blown through in time and pulled it back...
Hopefully mine will survive as I don't think the neighbours will appreciate the dogs in their gardens.
