Anyone seen any Android phone bargains?

I bought an Orange San Francisco 2 last week through Topcashback and unlocked it with instructions from the web. It wasn't the most straightforward process but took me less than an hour. The phone itself is excellent and once debranded it becomes a pleasure to use. I also got a decent pair of headphones free from Orange as part of the deal. Now on Giffgaff and very happy with it.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

I've bought two! One for me, one for the wife.Pineapple_Top wrote: »Thanks again everyone - still haven't made my mind up, but the Acer Liquid Metal looks good. Probably nicer to give an unlocked phone as a gift really.

Oh, now that does sound good. So could I just unlock it from home myself, with no special equipment? And there wouldn't be any obligation to Orange?0 -
You just need to be reasonably technically savvy, the instructions were a bit convuluted. It's Orange pay as you go, so you buy £10 top up when you buy the phone, that's the only obligation I know.Norn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Just ordered the Acer Liquid Metal. Huge thanks to Marlot for the tip and everyone else for the advice. :-)
Got £5 back with Quidco too, so think I've got myself a bargain. I love this forum!0 -
