    It's probably a pre-prepared marketing letter.

    Check what rate you're getting and what issue you're in online and ignore the letter (but keep it).

    If you're bonus drops off in April use www.saynoto0870.com to find the best number to ring for a complaint. That will be worth an extra £25 on top of putting it right if needed.
  • Letter received today from AA Savings.........

    "Dear ##########

    Please ignore the letter you received from us dated February 2012 as we have sent you incorrect information.

    We can confirm that the bonus on your account comes off on 20 December 2012 as stated in your letter to us on 13 February 2012.

    I can assure you that this is not indicative of our usual level of service and can only hope that we will have the opportunity to restore your confidence in AA Savings in the near future. I apologise for any inconvenience caused."
