    Yes I sneaked in and today got a welcome letter dated 17th Dec - if that helps you work out when your letter might arrive.

    Bit late now to offer my POV, but the online application was straightforward and written communication has been prompt and easy to understand. The opening cheque did take a while to clear but everything else has been easy and timely.

    No,postal accounts do not show online,i have two and they have never been available to view online.

    My welcome letter (dated 19 Dec) arrived 24 December, does that mean I'm on the 3.2% rate? There's no mention of the interest rate on the letter.

    If your welcome letter mentions AA Internet Extra (Issue 5) then yes.

    No, no mention. Letter starts with 'Thank you for your application to open a new internet account with the AA'. I'll give them a ring as soon as they reopen after Christmas.

    If you check your confirmation slip rather than the main letter, you will find the name of the account.

    Hmm, my mothers account was set up the other day but only yesterday was it "live" as such.

    Anyway, just logged on now to transfer some money over & the interest rate is listed as 0.00% gross.
