Well I was planning a NSD as ds is at nursery til 1.30 and have loads of housework to do, even though it is ment to be my day off today, but I have to go to the doctors so no doubt another perscription or 2 to pay for. Nhs is costing me a fortune because i have to wait so long to see a physio about my back pain.
Wil report back later.Skint Mummy0 -

Hello all,
Today I have spent 70p on a magazine and 40p for the local paper. I am hoping this should be it for today. I have just checked my bank account and I need to be very careful until the next pay day (22nd) so am hoping for many NSD in the next few weeks!

I notice a lot of you are including bills/essential payments, etc.. - therefore not a NSD.
However, I would say a NSD is where you don't spend any cash/credit on something you don't need. I.e. a sanwich, drink, food that you didn't plan to buy.
Things like, electric bill, or rent, or credit payment, I wouldn't think off, as it's a direct debit and completely out of my control.
I personally, am limiting just on what I spend when out and about and on things that I don't need to survive.Amo L'Italia0 -
True but I'm not really budgeting that well at the moment as I'm temping so varied income and outgoings - I'm paying a little over my min payments (by cheque as well as my DD's) on my CC's so I can get rid of them faster - so if I write it down I can see it!

Don't add my DD's just overpayments!
