Its not going to be NSD for me today unfortunately £1 lottery (I know, but you got to be in it to win it). Go out to lunch on a Friday so that's £3. Feel quite depressed at the thought of spending money. Saying that though even budgeted really well this week and taking into account today's expenditure still got about £4 spare. Still not touched my pay and all DD's and debt repayments have been made. How long will this last?????

I need a NSD - I have drifted back into the habit of buying chocolate and NEED TO STOP.

If anyone sees me with a bar of chocolate, please remind me of the damage it is doing to my weight and my cash flow.

    Morning all!

    Happy Friday :j

I am going for another NSD, must avoid the traditional Friday lunchtime trip to the pub though.

    Have a good one!

I was bad yesterday, got home late and we decided to go out for a pizza, so instead of a NSD day yesterday, I spent £16.70 on my half.

Today will hopefully be a NSD as we have to be up early tomorrow, so no drinking for me!

  • Today I have spent £334 & I'm really narked about £84 of it.

That's the vet bill for getting Tia spayed.

£250 was budgetted for as the figure that included anything going wrong. I asked why the increase & nothing had gone wrong they'd just put their prices up at new year & hadn't told me.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

£250! Blimey, that's a lot! Our cat came spayed as we got her from a rescue home (or is Tia a dog? I suppose that would make it more expensive). You'd think vets would do it cheaper, otherwise there'd be loads of unwanted pets running around.

Tia is a dog (see avatar). Also the price is dependent on weight & she is a large breed dog - over 40kg. The rescue we got her from can't afford to pay for neutering.

There are. The rescue centers are in crisis at the moment with the number of surrendered dogs. That's a thread for the Arms though.
