I'm in the process of moving and, funds being extremely tight, was thinking of going with talktalk's broadband/phone deal. Just looking at some of he posts on here it's looks like it's a no-no.....just wondering if anyone's getting on ok with them??

I think i am in the minority but i have been with them for broadband for 4 years and never had a problem at all.0

If everything goes OK, you have no problems and have no need to use email or phone support, then there's nothing wrong with TT. But should you need to use their Customer Service (oxymoron?) channels then look out your worry beads first.

To be fair - if you use the TT Member Forums then things tend to get sorted quickly and correctly, but not always.0 -
Hi, been with TalkTalk for five years, I find them to be really good.
Twice in that time, our phone line has broken (close to trees and the beach - windy conditions seem to mean the line 'snaps') but altho' the phone wouldn't work, the broadband connection was ok, and using the TT forums for help, I managed to report it and get it sorted really quickly.
Also, lots of help on the forum if you have a problem.
Worth a go, in my book.0 -
I've only ever had 1 problem in 3 years and that was caused by an Open Reach engineer at the exchange and had nothing to do with Talk Talk.
I didn't have much of a problem getting through to support and they kept in touch while the problem was being investigated. They also routed all landline calls through to my mobile until the problem was resolved.
I've just signed up with them for a further 12 months by paying up front for my landline at a good discount.
I had more problems with BT which is why I moved in the first place andI don't have any regrets.
Go via someone like Quidco for further savings.0 -
I've been with them for several years with no problems and have found their Forum very good for help and support.0

Another happy talktalk customer here...shock horror! Seriously they're pretty good providing you stick to their forum support. I joined them just over 12 months ago when they became the only LLU supplier at my exchange. I get line speeds 24/7, great pings of 15-25 ms and can watch hd movies streamed through my boxee box without stuttering.0

Ex F2S who where taken over by Tiscali Talk Talk .
Never a problem until a few months ago when constant dropped connections . CS took a whole month to reply to email .
Asked for Mac could not persuade me to stay jumped to BE no problems and no dropped connection .
Final was to be charged after i had left for another month .
So when they are good they are very good and when they are bad they do seem to be very bad .

Out out curiosity, have you posted on the BE forum at all? What's your forum name? (Mine is siteguru).0

BE are like Loreal compared to TT - they're worth it.
