Let's just say it doesn't quite all add up.

"FTSE 100 directors' earnings rose by almost half last year

Latest survey of boardroom pay finds average compensation went up by 49% to £2.7m

A FTSE 100 executive typically received an average of £2.7m in 2010, according to the research by Incomes Data Services, which analysed payouts of salaries, bonuses and long-term incentive plans the last financial year."

A million pound remuneration package and managing to STR at the absolute peak of the housing market. Some people have all the luck. :(

those salaries are executive board directors...i.e. global heads of mega companies - think terry leahy, paul polman or andrew witty

justin king is on 900k basic

there are 42 uk directors in my business
    35 at my level
    6 uk board members
    1 uk chairman

the uk chairman is only on c180k basic (package much more)

i never claimed to earn a million...or anything even approaching it
    i STR'd due to a work move
i got lucky with the investment
i seemingly got lucky with the house i am renting...although there are loads more similar as far as i can see
    nothing more than that

am i satisfying you any more now?

tell me what doesn't add up and i'll help you to understand, as long as it does not give away anything specific

i read hpc occasionally while i have lunch.
it makes good reading, and is a good place to get broader economic news
i have never posted on there and do not have an account

i've never bought a copy of the express, but hpc generally has links to sibleys rants on the online site

    No.
Your mistakes give away your "characters". I enjoy taunting them from time to time as we've established. I don't think I'll help you avoid that taunting.
I guess being a FTSE 100 director I'm putty in your hands anyway?
    Curses.

If what this character is saying is true, why the ":(" ? Some people do get some luck, no need to be unhappy about that, unless you are jealous.
30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.
