I think the fact that not all the images show the stabiliser lens weakens your case...I would then consider it an accessory, or at least look to check it was included.

    Twin Lens Kit contains:
    • Canon EOS 500D + EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC Lens
    • Canon EF-S 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III DC Lens

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC Lens has 2 versions a standard DC lens and and IS lens

EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS is the image stabiliser lens

From the Jessops Ts and Cs:
"Product photographs are for illustration only, products may differ from those shown. Descriptions are supplied by the manufactuer and may change without notice."

I think that probably covers it, and as you said that the description was correct I don't think that you have much of a chance getting an extra lens, particularly not after this length of time.

Although you may not have any legal rights, I would still consider writing to Jessops to explain the problem and request the put it right. You have nothing to lose following this approach.

well as the kit DOES NOT come with a stabilising lens then Jessops will do nothing as they have sold the OP what he paid for over 6 months ago.

    Hi all,

Thank you all for everyone's input. I don't think I'll be taking it any further than this board seeing as the majority are saying what I thought would be the general consensus anyway, if it had been the other way I would have tried my luck!

Hopefully life won't get in the way of me enjoying my next camera when I upgrade(Soon I Hope :) ) and you can bet that it will be checked, double checked and triple checked well before six months! lol

    Thanks again.

I know life is complicated we have been building a new house and since our builder has dragged things out we had cookers, fridges etc that were delivered 2-3 months before we had a chance to use them. Some bathroom stuff was unchecked for delivery damage for similar timespans.

I was kaking myself when we moved in!!
