It doesn't matter what you can prove.

By law you would now been deemed to have 'accepted' the goods.

Nonetheless whats on their webpage NOW doesn't prove that was what was there THEN.

It's an expensive lesson, now learnt. Could you now perhaps sell it on ebay?

the image may be correct today as it may now come with stabilising lens which it never 6 months ago, you need to prove they used the same image 6 months ago.

God knows how I would prove that, but it's the same page and still has conflicting images of lens's one with and one without.

I could only prove this by their current webpage and the only written statement is at the bottom of the page "2011 Jessops.com | Technical specifications for guidance only and cannot be guaranteed accurate. Errors and omissions excepted."

This is on the jessops dot com page and search for canon EOS 500D -18-55mm + 75-300mm kit lens & see middle/ second image.

where does it indicate anti shake?

if i purchased such a thing i would have checked this out on delivery, also i would not have purchased such an item unless i was wanting that item to use then and not just purchase it as i may use it in 6 months time.

When you get something new you don't always notice the obvious, especially being new to this type of equipment.

If you look at the middle/second image there is an extra switch on the lens compared to the first image that shows the lens without the image stabiliser. having stabilisation is not mention in the text description.
  • But you have had 6 months and you bought a good camera not a mickey mouse vivtar camera, why buy such a good camera only not to use it regularly . Image stablisher is normally part of a camera surely if it did have one you notice it fairly quickly.

See reply "Life's complicated" wont bore you with my woe's.

it may not be mickey mouse but it doesn't come with all the bells and whistles as thought, it's still an entry level camera in the DSLR world!

AF/MF shows on the first image, but if you look at the second image it shows a lens with AF/MF and stabiliser.
