Congratulations on passing your exam Mummyroyof3 - great feeling!

I've done all my bits that weren't on the list but still need to

    - wrap three pressies
    - write some cards.

    Also need to add;

    - banking
    - postal banking
    - buy few bits to send niece and nephew
    - pack box for niece and nephew.
    - drive DS to my parents for his tea

However much I do I seem to have to add twice as much!

That's my aim for today. First i'm going to sit down for 5 minutes for the first time today! xx

And I will try to cross something off the 'extras' list.

Sort out freezer or pantry or both!
Write at least 1 set of Christmas cards
    Wrap at least 3 presents
Post any cards/presents that need it.
    Get your decorations up!
Sort out them CDs - what do you never listen to? - get rid!
Sort that ironing mountain - either do it or put the clothes away and iron them as you need them/a drawer at a time so it's not glaring at you all the time.

  • Start with babysteps hun. There is no point in trying to do the whole list if it is too much. I did just about nothing yesterday and I've been doing this for years. :D Work on the principle that anything you do is better than nothing.

DS3 has eaten two potato waffles and is on the PS3 so feeling a bit better

DS1 has just learnt that awful lesson that people nag you to back up your work for a reason. Hard one when it is is your A2 coursework, maybe this time the message will get home :(

Just letting the floors dry and then another HH before I loose the will and tiredness takes over.

Hugs for DS re the coursework - DD2 has just learnt the same lesson - for A2 coursework too!

Taken DD1 into town today - she is sorted for Christmas now ( lucky her!) I bought her a pasty from the Cornish Pasty shop and i had some of their curried chick pea soup - gosh it was fab... and as far as I could see it was diet-friendly!

Tea bubbling on the hob - I better go and get ready for Yr 13 parents evening - IT's MY LAST ONE!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

CY my DS1 is refusing to go to his parents evening on Thursday as it is when he works. If I mention school work it ends in a fight so I don't think it would be valuable for me either?

Not getting very far but going to do a quick 15 minutes flying before I feed the cats. My new lampshade has arrived for the bedroom (loss count of how many I have bought and returned) and so far I like it but it's not up yet.

    Hi Ladies,

Thank you for my birthday wishes. I had a lovely time - 3 days in the sun. It's not everyday you're 50!

I am honoured to share my day with LWs DH and Dancemums DS!

I am off work for the rest of the week so will be joining you all. I must get straight.

    Hope everyone is well. Hugs

Hello everyone, I'm feeling better than yesterday and managed to get to the shops to return some bits.

    Congratulations Mummyroysof3.
I winced when I read about the lack of back up Dusty. I hope DS3 is back to school soon and the temperature doesn't return tonight.
    Welcome back Maxonian
hope the SS visit went well Vanilla
    Hi Jinky

Minimal flying done. A couple of loads of washing put through and most of yesterdays ironing marathon put away. I have had casserole in the oven all day and the smell is drifting through the house rather nicely.

Just decluttered a bottle of wine to the window cleaner. Cold hard cash is too valuable at the moment for a christmas tip.

I'm going to work tomorow morning then I will come home and tackle the living room.

DS1 came home for a couple of hours to watch the football last night. I think he has grown even more as he towered over me when he gave me a cuddle. He's still at Nan and Grandad's and seems to have his feet well under the table there.

A package has gone missing from my garage. I have no idea what it is as I've ordered 3 or 4 things and DD1 has packages arrive every day. I can't get through to the Royal Mail delivery number on the card so it's very perplexing.

I might post my cards tomorrow. It's my Mum's birthday but I've not heard what she wants to do lunchtime so flying is the plan.

Hello Jinky! I've been thinking of you as your namesake has come to visit again this year! Hope you're ok xx

    List completed.

I'm now going to sit down and do nothing. I've been fighting a cold since Friday and it's decided it's going to win the battle tonight. So bit of reading and then an early night.

    xx
