    Morning all

Treated myself to tea and scone for breakfast with bf in JL. DS3 is back in school I managed to get all my returns done in town but must settle to the christmas shopping as that stress wave is climbing up my back.

Going to see what I can order online now.

House is quite tidy and plan for today is to clean the bathroom later.

Mudders well done on your tax return

Carlsberg hugs and hope next year is your year

Polly I missed my parcel whilst I was out so I'll have to pick it up later or arrange redelivery for Friday.

Todays list almost done, paperwork and me time (which will be this eve) left. This afternoon I have a giant hotspot to clear, kitchen to S&S and washing to fold a put away. Hopefully can get that done before picking DS1 up at 3 and we can do something together this afternoon, maybe make some handprint wreaths to hang up :)

First two loads of washing all dry, folded and put away and I've pegged the third load (DD1's bedding and whites) out on the line so I hope that will dry too.

Drinking hot lemon squash now, still can't manage tea.

Just came back from lunch with a friend. It was lovely to have a good natter.

Dustykitten - thank you for that. It made me realise that maybe I'm trying to do to much and I should stick to what I can do.

Today is my day off today so I'll try to catch up with the housework as much as I can, but I won't be killing myself for it as there's always next week:D.

    edit to add:
    Sort out pantry
Write at least 1 set of Christmas cards
Wrap at least 3 presents - 2 wrapped already.

I've been up to DD's school this morning for the opening. DD and her class played somewhere over the rainbow, DD played parts of the song on the keyboard and got up and sang some parts of it on her own. It was a very proud mummy moment, tears and everything. Mind you there was quite a few parents feeling the same..:D

Don't plan on doing must today, we're all going to a carol service. I might try a grab a snooze before we go, if OH decides to waken up..

carlsberg big hugs what a rough year.
    Mudbath well done. :T
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Dusty I read that as boyfriend!
Carlsberg/Jinky and other returners - good to see you back

cold, cold, cold and a building site for a kitchen.

Apart from that everything is rosie :D

Since arriving home I have danced in the bin to fit some more rubbish in and tried to decide on a dress for my work do (not at the same time obviously- even I have standards). Hard working with lots of 18-24 year olds when you are nearly 40 and permanently cold.

WM is now on, and I need to take mr dyson for a walk round the visible bits of carpet.
