Hoppy Birdday to Master Dance and Maxonian

I've only just had chance to look at this week's thread; been very busy, as Mr LW's got his birthday off (many thanks for the birthday wises for him, btw - he's really appreciative of them).

We have a TREE for the first time ever:D - it's only 18" high, but is sitting on my computer desk, where I normally have a vase of flowers.

We also did a Mr T run (boooooo) cos we were out of milk; we had planned to go tomorrow (Mr LW's off then too as he has to use up leave) but we decided it was silly going twice, we might as well go and do the "big" shop today and get it out of the way.:o

OK, listy.... I see I have my own nice little challenges - thanks.:o

I've done today's Challenge,;) and some of the tasks are already covered; I shall be back to proper Flying on Wednesday, meanwhile let's see what we have.....

Hi I just thought I should say I am in again this week but not doing cleaning today. I am snuggled on the sofa as I have a horrible cold.

By the end of the day I hope to have all pressies sorted. At £10 max per person it has been a bit of a challenge. We have enough snow to keep me in anyway so online shopping it is.

Must write menu plan for December!

And I will try to cross something off the 'extras' list.

Sort out freezer or pantry or both!
Write at least 1 set of Christmas cards
    Wrap at least 3 presents
Post any cards/presents that need it.
    Get your decorations up!
Sort out them CDs - what do you never listen to? - get rid!

    Dailies done.
    Cards to post wrote out.
    Picked up my lottery winnings.

Nipped up the street for a bit of shoping.

Went out for a xmas lunch with my Nordic Walking group. The meal was a bit poor and we waited ages for dessert. Good company though.

Happy Birthday to all those celebrating today.
    Welcome to the newbies.

Poohbear you have my sympathy with a horrible cold. I am very fed up with this one it's 6 days now and no sign of respite.

DH came home early as his meetings were cancelled. It gave me the opportunity to leap back into bed.

DS1's bedroom is the cleanest it has been in a very long time. He will be very shocked when he returns from his extended stay with his grandparents. The date has been set for the weekend coming. I've told him that his behaviour must change.

Evening all, Been a busy week last week so never got a chance to get on. Then had 2 Christmas party's over the weekend, kids loved it. Boys suppose to be out tonight but there gonna tidy their bedroom instead, yes i am a mean mummy.

SS been in touch and are coming tomorrow, i feel sick even at the thought of it. :( House is a tip because we were out so much last week, this week is gonna get very busy too.

So i best get the place sorted, livingroom first i think.

Happy Birthday to Mr LW, Maxonian and Dancemum's DS.

Thanks juliejim for the lists this week.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Managed to do a few bits today but concentrated mainly on college work. More college stuff to do tomorrow but I will try and get more done off the list.

Hugs to all in need xx
