Jojo - hope your daughter is ok with her braces. My DD has her upper fitted last Friday and is having lower this Friday. It looks a lot less bracelike than I thought though and only took 15 minutes to fit. I guess there are different types of braces though.

Not sure what i'll get done today as I've just realised i'm working until 10pm tonight though I do have half hour gaps between each client. Making the most of people wanting treatments because if it snows people won't get here.

    So far today:

    dog walked
popped to mum and dad's with cards for people they'll be seeing
    recycling
    compost

I seem to do a lot but not anything off the list!

Hope you all have a good day and stay safe if you're in a windy part of the country today xx

    Challenges for this week!

Sort out freezer or pantry or both!
Post any cards/presents that need it.
Sort out them CDs - what do you never listen to? - get rid!
Sort that ironing mountain - either do it or put the clothes away and iron them as you need them/a drawer at a time so it's not glaring at you all the time.

Good morning all, Just back from Mum's. Before I went I put washing in the TD and mopped through.

Going to have a cuppa now while browsing for gifts and doing a bit of college work. Hopefully will be able to s+s the kitchen and put the hoover round before going to work......Have a good day all xx

    morning everyone

I had a lovely time with DS yesterday, got to me a bit coming home to my 'empty nest', but heyho he's happy that's the main thing!

I've just done my good deed for the day and picked up NN from the garage where she's left her jeep to have its MOT...fingers crossed for NN.

I really MUST fly today, but all I want to do is sleep - think I must have been a hedgehog in a previous life!- think I'll set the microwaver timer for fifteen minutes and make a start.

I'm still smiling at the thought of the flylady dancing in her dustbin in a posh frock...not that she did of course :)

Healing vibes, hugs, spoons and sticks being sent into the ether. please collect as required.

    xx

Morning everyone. Thanks for the passing vibes but the god if speed had other ideas. She was doing 35 in a 30. Otherwise it was 2 minors. I think the examiner was upset for her as he told her it was a silly mistake to make and to rebook ASAP.

Dd2 was very sweet in her school play.

Mummyof5 - healing vibes for the brave little boy.
Jue - you could play scrabble?

Thanks for the parcels on FB - you know. Who you are.

Enough wittering I need to do a HHC. The kitchen is a bomb site

Minion is now the proud owner of an upper set of braces. And when the orthodontist suggested I went off for a coffee whilst she put them on, Minion asked 'can mummy stay with me, please?'. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. :) Not such a tough kid after all! She then sat here for over an hour and only got a little bothered right at the end when they were doing the last two teeth at the back and were pulling her jaw around a bit.
Well done Minion for coping so well; it's got to be not too dissimilar to what I went through to get my new dental plates made and fitted.:o
Oh, and I had a gig in a wine bar tonight. Public transport there, public transport back, I'm shattered and I still can't quite believe I get to do this. I guess these days, I really can give my occupation as musician.
And why not..... if anyone asks me, I'm a Dog-sitter!:D

OK, lets have a wee listy catch-up; I need to get ahead with tomorrow's as I shan't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting anything much done tomorrow with Mr LW wfh (and wanting intravenous tea);)
