    Afternoon all

Cleaned the bathroom and toilet this morning and washed the kitchen floor. One load of washing draped round. It's dark and windy and wet here - much like everywhere else I expect.
  • Poohbear not sure about cards for DS3, DH doesnt get any paper mail whatsoever when away, but friends that work for other companies do and can send cards. It all depends on who he is working for. You could always phone the office and ask them if its ok to send cards as they would know.

Have also done car insurance this afternoon, havent yet finished my christmas cards, but doing car tax tomorrow so need to go and get them finished so can send them off to Natty :D

LW - I know a lot of these don't apply to you so you have got a little list of your own!

THURS - HH game playing with Mr LW
    FRI - HH computer work

Progress has been made:D. I'm bloomin' fed up though - three times this afternoon my mobile has rung with a "private number" calling me; and three times it's been red buttoned. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm waiting for Mr LW to call and let me know he's on his way home, for two pins I'd switch the damn thing off.

  • Thank you Juliejim!

Can't do 60 in 60 as I just sell everything on ebay instead!

I'm pretty pleased with my progress today, especially as I've been putting off clearing lots of stuff from the study and it now looks decent again. The shredding will have to be put off though as I might have broken the shredder from doing too much shredding:(

I'll ask DH to look at it for me but it'll have to be postponed to next week. I don't really mind as I love shredding (not!):rotfl:

    Have a good eve/night/Fri/weekend everyone!

Bikelesschick - my shredder is always a nightmare when I do more than a few pages. Unplug it, and you'll probably find bits of paper compacted in the shreddy bits. I poke them out with a skewer, and then its fine.

Not much done today, although OH did bring me a very smart new microwave instead of the old spare one :) I guess my old one breaking down at least solved his christmas present problem for him... But he thought I needed it now, so brought it over along with the phone wires and stuff that I needed.

I'm not feeling great, so have called the hospital and left a message for the consultant with his secretary. After two weeks I'm sure I should be feeling better not worse, and I really don't want to be taking time off so I hope it's just me having high expectations rather than anything problematic.

seafarers_wife. DS3 has changed companies during his course so I have asked for an address to post to. We can but hope.... I do miss him. His previous company had internet, this ship has nothing :(
Good luck for next week. You must be getting excited.

greenbee How lovely, a shiny new microwave. I hope you are feeling better soon.

I am about to start on a HHC if anyone would like to join me?

I've tidied around, got clean bedding out for tomorrow, washed up and put the presents away.

Large ebay items collected - yey another thing out!

Just going to do a little online shopping and check the status of some orders and then clean the bathroom.
