Is your Wi-Fi Security set to 'Disable':

Incidetally my security is set to wep is that ok orshould it be changed and to what with what consequence.Change is here to stay0 -
WEP - can easily be cracked.
It is better to use WPA2 (if available) or WPA.
Also, as mentioned above by someone else, if you are having problems with the Wi-Fi signal, try a different channel number.

Regardless of whether it is or is not due to Wireless security, it isn't a good idea to leave it on WEP.
