    Afternoon all......

    Today has definitely not been a NSD - as I have had to add DD on to my car insurance because she passed her driving test this morning.

    On the other hand, I fully expect to offset the cost of said insurance against the savings that I will make each time I avoid having to pay for a taxi, now that she can come and ferry me around :D

    Not as much as I thought....although I am well aware of the fact that it could all be lulling me into a false sense of security!!

    I only have 2 full months left on my current policy, and it cost £115 to add her to that for those two remaining months.

    They will then send me a renewal as usual - if this year has been done pro-rata, then it will cost approx £700 to add her for a full year, which is not as much as I feared. (approx £60 extra per month)

    But of course, we all know how these insurance companies like to tease.......!!
