Have just been reading your thread and wanted to say that I think you’re doing fantastically well. Good news re the ESA. Hope that means that your benefits go up.(I’m rather out of touch with working-age benefits now.)

Do the LA Housing people know about the damp, non-working cooker, rats & inactive LL? It may affect your points and give you higher priority. I know you’re desperate to get out of the house but I’m a bit worried that they may decide you’re intentionally homeless if you give-up your tenancy. I really think you should talk to your LA’s Housing Advice centre. (The number should be in the Phone Book. If not, CAB should have it.)

Thank you I will have a look into speaking to someone, Her promises where obviously false because her phones off again today :cool:

If the worst does happen and Im out of here before I find somewhere I can stay with my friend and then hopefull he thinks he can help me with a deposit somewhere else (there wasnt on here) when he gets his deposit back from his last property

Thank you they dont have anywhere near to me but I have rang the help line and told them everythign and they are calling me back thanks so much for the link Hopefully something will be sorted now x

Ok so Shelter has called and they have told me to ring Enviromental health today, I must tell them about the damp/cooker/windows/rats etc as it isnt safe and they will send someone to assess it, however the lanlord can/most likely will evict me for taking things further ...
